Location was amazing - right in front of Ancient Agora Plaka, as well as the Temple of Hephaestus. It is also in walking distance to almost every other major site, such as the Acropolis. In addition, it's strategically placed between two train stations (blue and green lines). It is a three-minute walk from Monastiraki station/square/flea market. The area is full of restaurants and cafés with food and vibrant atmosphere, especially at night. The property also has its own restaurant right below it with delicious food and drinks. And they give staying guests a 15% discount! The staff and owner were really friendly. Katerina and Aliki were exceptional, and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We were welcomed to our room with a gift of cake and wine for our honeymoon.

Amazing location literally on the steps of the Plaka neighbourhood and walkable distance to every possible interest point in the city centre. The view was breathtaking and matches the pictures, really impressed! Very warm welcome and caring hosts, family-owned feeling to everything!

What an incredible stay I had at Ancient Agora Plaka. My host, Alice and her husband were beautiful, kind people and the gorgeous concierge/manager was amazing also - thank you all! It’s worth mentioning that their families restaurant downstairs was the perfect go to breakfast spot (and dinner on a few occasions). The location was also absolutely fantastic, being right across the path from the incredible ‘Ancient Agora’. I also must mention how well I slept. Ow my goodness, my mattress was so comfortable and the pillows felt very high end, and the bedding and sheets were crisp and clean. Everything was fabulous! I’m looking forward to coming back back again soon

Great central location, very close to the Acropolis and the other major attractions in the area. There are also many good restaurants within walking distance.

Proximity to restaurants, bars flea markets, Acropolis, Metro and everything and anything you would need. Easy to get to any part of Athens to see. Overall a wonderful experience. Katerina is a lovely host and will go out of her way to help with anything you may need.

Room spotless & well equipped. Comfortable bed & good quality bedding. Was central to all you wanted to see in the city . Staff were very polite & helped when we had a problem with our return airport transfer . Katalina even messaged me the morning after we returned to see if we’d got home safely without problem, a lovely lady !
