"Amazing Location and Resting Nest for full days of Sightseeing"

Amazing location literally on the steps of the Plaka neighbourhood and walkable distance to every possible interest point in the city centre. The view was breathtaking and matches the pictures, really impressed! Very warm welcome and caring hosts, family-owned feeling to everything!

location is excellent, staff very helpful and friendly, easy walk from metro station and central to many sites. A bonus is the discount received if you eat at the restaurant.

Ideal place to stay if you want a central location, very useful having the restaurant under the hotel, great for breakfast or an evening meal if you’ve been out and about all day

Great central location, very close to the Acropolis and the other major attractions in the area. There are also many good restaurants within walking distance.

What an incredible stay I had at Ancient Agora Plaka. My host, Alice and her husband were beautiful, kind people and the gorgeous concierge/manager was amazing also - thank you all! It’s worth mentioning that their families restaurant downstairs was the perfect go to breakfast spot (and dinner on a few occasions). The location was also absolutely fantastic, being right across the path from the incredible ‘Ancient Agora’. I also must mention how well I slept. Ow my goodness, my mattress was so comfortable and the pillows felt very high end, and the bedding and sheets were crisp and clean. Everything was fabulous! I’m looking forward to coming back back again soon

Katharina and her staff were amazing. They went the extra mile to ensure my stay was comfortable. The unexpected treats in the bistro below were so wonderful!The location is superb and very close to the Monastiraki Square and Metro.

Proximity to restaurants, bars flea markets, Acropolis, Metro and everything and anything you would need. Easy to get to any part of Athens to see. Overall a wonderful experience. Katerina is a lovely host and will go out of her way to help with anything you may need.

Room spotless & well equipped. Comfortable bed & good quality bedding. Was central to all you wanted to see in the city . Staff were very polite & helped when we had a problem with our return airport transfer . Katalina even messaged me the morning after we returned to see if we’d got home safely without problem, a lovely lady !
